Under the Sea Nursery Inspiration
Baby Keggi is joining us in March, and I’m really looking forward to my nesting instincts kicking in! Of course, we’re going with an Under the Sea theme for the nursery ~ with a coastal lean. My goal is to make the nursery fun and playful, while still using colors that I personally enjoy (because I’m sure I’ll be in there quite a bit!)
As a surface designer, I knew I wanted to design prints and patterns for the nursery, but also wanted to incorporate a wallpaper by a fellow Spoonflower Artist that was outside of my signature style as an accent wall (plus, my husband loves the wallpaper). I chose to focus more on pink in the accents than in the main space, giving it a feminine touch without looking like Barbieland!
